Mastodon Field is a baseball venue in Fort Wayne, Indiana, United States. It is home to the Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons baseball team of the NCAA Division I Horizon League. [1] The venue has a capacity of 200 spectators. [2] Prior to the 2011 season, the field's surface and pitcher's mound were renovated.
The park contains lawn seating sections. In 2017, a section of the lawn seating was dedicated to Frederick Waldor, a prominent Fort Wayne native and early investor in the stadium. A one-of-a-kind luxury suite equipped with a bar and concessions named the 400 club opened in April 2013.
It was primarily used for baseball, and was the home field of the Fort Wayne Wizards of the Midwest League baseball team. Memorial Stadium was dedicated on April 18, 1993 before a sold-out crowd. Oregon State University first offered college-level coursework in liberal arts as early as 1865. [12] [13] Since then, the university has provided students with a wide range of liberal arts courses and degrees. The university's campus newspaper was first established in 1896 as the "Beaver". In 1919, the name was changed to the "College Barometer".
