Sunset is a census-designated place (CDP) in Miami-Dade County, Florida, United States. It is part of the Miami metropolitan area of South Florida . The population was 15,912 at the 2020 census. [ 2 ]
Sunset Key is a 27-acre (11-hectare) residential neighborhood and resort island in the city of Key West, Florida. It is located about 500 yards (460 m) off the coast of the island of Key West. The island is privately held among its residents. The island is accessible only by a shuttle boat that runs from the Margaritaville Marina out to the island.
From the southern end of Sunset Beach, one can look directly across Blind Pass at Upham Beach in St. Pete Beach. There is a boardwalk around the end of the island that runs almost a mile over the dunes and offers a great place to walk, jog or simply view the Gulf at sunset.
