Jessica Pyfer (1998—) is a retired American jockey and the 2021 Eclipse Award winner as outstanding apprentice jockey. Pyfer was the third woman to win the award.

The 1977 winner, Steve Cauthen, also won the overall Eclipse Award for Outstanding Jockey that same year. The American Champion Sprint Female Horse award is an American Thoroughbred horse racing honor awarded annually to the top female horse in sprint races usually run at a distance of 6 or 7 furlongs. This category honoring female sprinters became part of the Eclipse Awards program in 2007.
