Albert Zénophile Aubin (July 6, 1891 – March 20, 1957) was an Ontario political figure. He represented Sturgeon Falls in the Legislative Assembly of Ontario from 1929 to 1934 as a Conservative member. He was born in Cumber, Ontario, the son of Azaire Adulphe Aubin, and educated in Rigaud, Quebec and at Osgoode Hall. He married Jeannette Bourdon.
Sturgeon Falls is a community and former town in Nipissing District, Ontario, located on the Sturgeon River. The community had a population of 6,939 at the 2021 census and a density of 1,129/km 2 (2,920 sq mi). [1] Following a failed legal challenge in 1997, [2] the community was merged into the municipality of West Nipissing in 1999.
Before entering politics, Legault was a furniture retailer in Sturgeon Falls. He was first elected in a 1964 byelection, following the death of the district's longtime MP Jack Garland. He was reelected in the 1965 and 1968 elections, and then retired from politics in 1972. He died in 1983 and was buried at Sturgeon Falls. [2]
