The VK 36.01 (H) was an experimental German heavy tank, developed during World War II. [1] The VK 36.01 H was further development of the VK 30.01 (H) experimental medium tank, and subsequently lead to the development of the VK 45.01 (H). There were only 8 chassis and one complete prototype built, all by Henschel.
The M4 Medium became the second-most-produced tank of World War II, and was the only tank to be used by virtually all Allied forces (thanks to the American lend-lease program); approximately 40,000 M4 Mediums were produced during the war. [30] M4s formed the main tank of American, British, Canadian, French, Polish, and Chinese units.
The P43 was the pinnacle of Italian tank design during WW2. The Italians goal with this vehicle was to create a somewhat equivalent of the Panther and Tiger tanks used by their allies. This tank’s design was obviously a natural progression of the P40. The tank only reached the wooden mock-up stage.
Leichttraktor, pre-war light tank, four built; Neubaufahrzeug, pre-war heavy tank design, five built; Panther II, development of the Panzerkampfwagen V "Panther". A single chassis was built; Panzerkampfwagen VII "Löwe", a super-heavy tank project that never reached prototype stage; Panzerkampfwagen VIII "Maus", a super-heavy tank. Two ...
B "Königstiger" (Sd. Kfz.182) / VK4503(H) was a heavy tank in the later half of World War II. The Tiger II combined one of the ...
An earlier design, the Heavy Tank M6, was not accepted for large scale production and only 40 were produced. Work began in early 1945 to develop a significantly heavier variant of the M26 Pershing, the T32 Heavy Tank, but after the end of the World War II, the project was cancelled and the four prototype vehicles were scrapped.
The M41 Walker Bulldog, officially 76-mm gun tank M41, was an American light tank developed for armed reconnaissance purposes. [8] [9] It was produced by Cadillac between 1951 and 1954 and marketed successfully to the United States Army as a replacement for its aging fleet of World War II-vintage M24 Chaffee tanks. [6]

The Versuchskonstruktion 30.01 (D) and 30.02 (D), in English "experimental design 30 tonnes Daimler", [ a ] was intended to counter the Soviet T-34 and ...
