Puli Varudhu (transl. Tiger is coming) is a 2007 Indian Tamil language romantic comedy film directed by G. V. Kumar, starring Jithan Ramesh and Mallika Kapoor, with Manivannan, Saranya, Karunas, and Livingston in supporting roles. Sundarapandian, an angry orphan, is the henchman of a rich man Manivannan and often went to jail for minor offences. Karthikeyan enters his house as a servant and falls in love with his daughter Kalyani. In the meantime, Mallaria, an orphan, tries to reform Sundarapandian and they fall in love.
The princess go along with Mallika, their handmaiden to the temple of their god, Gandharvan, in order to pray. Mallika is secretly the mistress of Thirumanassu although they are both terrified that one of Thirumanassu's two wives would find out about the affair. On the way, the princesses and Mallika come across Devamma, a wisewoman.
