OBAP's immersive ACE Academies are tailored to provide exposure to the history of aviation, fundamentals of aerodynamics, air traffic control procedures, aerospace technologies and introductions to aerospace careers.
Each summer, more than 500 children participate in weeklong Aviation Career Education (ACE) academies, in cities throughout the U.S., Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Through the Solo Flight Academy 21 young adults were granted the opportunity to solo in an airplane this past year.
