Here is a cocktail that my health nurse( who works with post surgical and ICU long term patients) uses in the hospital to relieve that dreaded constipation we get after surgery. 1 dose of Milk of Magnesia 5 ounces of prune juice 2 ounces of 7-up Now, they mix it all together in a glass and...
Tweet. #5. 11 November 2008, 06:41 AM. I was nuts enough (and desperate ) so I tried this with some plain Milk of Magnesia. I knew that MoM was highly alkaline so I put jojoba oil on first to prevent over drying, applied MoM & let it dry, then rinsed. Perhaps this technique was wrong & that's why it seemed ineffective.
5 ounces of prune juice. 2 ounces of 7-up. Mix it all together in a glass and drink it right down, BUT if you really can't do that, just take the ingredients one after the other. Drink the milk of magnesia, down the prune juice, and finish up with the 7-up to take the taste out of your mouth.
Magnesium success. 17 January 2016, 02:51 AM. I used metro gel for many years with only limited success. One day I was reading people's pharmacy and a man wrote in saying he'd been using milk of magnesia and his Rosacea disappeared. I had been taking magnesium supplements already so, I did an experiment and quit the metro gel.
27 November 2016, 01:10 AM. I wanted to write to share my experience with soolantra because I found this forum so helpful during my flare up. I'm still struggling with the pain meds but seem to have found what is working for me with the the help of my OS and his attentive use of the Pulse app. He has me on Tamadol & Tylenol and Dilaudid. I alternate between the two every 3 hours. I also take medicine for the nausea as needed. Prune juice with a spoon of milk of magnesia.
Re "Poop Fairy" - I SWEAR by Milk of Magnesia...and you will poop for sure the next day. If you've become backed up, this will reside above the blockage. I had a blockage so bad, when I thought I wasn't going to be constipated...that I was in such pain, there was blood, and you just sit, push, sit, and it goes on, bit by bit.
