D'Masiv is an Indonesian rock band which based in Jakarta. It consists of 5 members: Rian Ekky Pradipta (vocal), Dwikky Aditya Marsall (guitar), Nurul Damar Ramadhan (guitar), Rayyi Kurniawan Iskandar Dinata (bass), and Wahyu Piadji (drums).

INASGOC committee contacted d'Masiv vocalist Rian to create two songs for the Asian Games album. One of them, titled "Bright as the Sun" was sung by 18 Indonesian musicians, tells about the differences in Indonesia that can be an example for other countries and to appreciate the differences.
D'Masiv and Nidji led the nominations with four categories, followed by Peterpan, Project Pop and The Changcuters with three nominations. Peterpan was the biggest winner of the night, taking home two awards for Outstanding Band and Outstanding Video Clip for "Walau Habis Terang".

David has also collaborated with and wrote song for other musicians, receiving an Anugerah Planet Muzik nomination in 2018 for his collaboration with D'Masiv and Rossa, "Pernah Memiliki", and an Anugerah Musik Indonesia nomination in 2021 for his part in the writing of Stevan Pasaribu's song "Belum Siap Kehilangan".

On this album Rossa recorded nine new songs, five of which are in Indonesian and the other 4 songs are in English. On June 9 2016 Rossa launched a single entitled "Jangan Hilangkan Dia" for the soundtrack of the film "ILY from 38,000 FT" created by Ryan D'Masiv and the music was composed Tushar Apte.
