Auberge Resorts (officially Auberge Resorts Collection) is an American multinational hospitality group headquartered in Mill Valley, California and Bethesda, Maryland. Founded in 1981 as Auberge du Soleil , the group currently operates 27 hotels and resorts (2023) in the United States, Mexico and Europe.
The trademark rights and franchise system were acquired for $39 million by HFS Inc., owner of other hotel brands such as Days Inn and Ramada. [5] [6] HFS was later merged into Cendant Corporation, [7] and Cendant's hotel services, including Travelodge, were spun off as Wyndham Hotels and Resorts in 2006. [8]
