Niles East High School: Opened in 1938, the school was Niles High School until 1959 when Niles West opened.The school closed in 1980. Maine North High School: Opened in 1970, the building closed in 1981.
Glenbrook North offers many sports including, but not limited to baseball, basketball, bowling, cheerleading, cross-country, football, golf, ice hockey, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, track, and volleyball. The school is a member of the Central Suburban League North and the Illinois High School Association (IHSA). [43]
