Moody Beach is a coastal neighborhood and private beach located in Wells, Maine, with about 100 homes adjoining the beach. Moody Beach has a blend of year-round and summer residents, as well as short-term vacationers from around New England and Quebec. The coastline stretches about a mile long, from Ogunquit Beach to Moody Point on Ocean Avenue.
The beach area is separated into two sections by a small hill, Adatepe, and by a large light colored sand dune without vegetation. [3] The Golden Beach is, along with other sand beaches in Karpaz, an important nesting area for sea turtles. Camping on the beach and the surrounding protection areas is strictly forbidden.

According to the most recent CIR data, 1,846 islands are registered to private owners, while 204 islands, which contain four or more structures, are exempt from registration.
