Dinesh Sharma (born 12 January 1964) is an Indian politician and a Member of Parliament in Rajya Sabha from Uttar Pradesh. He was the Deputy Chief minister of Uttar Pradesh from 2017 to 2022. He was previously the mayor of Lucknow. A professor by profession, he is a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party and he has held various posts in the party.
On 22 March 2024, Delhi High Court's single-judge bench of Justice Dinesh Kumar Sharma agreed that the trial court's judgement requires deeper examination and re-appreciation of entire evidence and admitted the CBI's appeal.
