Similarly, spray powder is not generally used in sheet-fed (silk) screen-printing, ink-jet or toner based digital printing. In the UK, many Carrom players use a version of anti-set-off spray powder from the printing industry [ citation needed ] which has specific electrostatic properties with particles of 50 micrometres in diameter.
The term was later also applied to the indirect sublimation transfer printing process, which uses a standard ink-jet printer to deposit sublimation-capable ink onto a transfer sheet. The printed transfer sheet is then pressed with the substrate with heat, transferring the dye to the substrate, such as plastic or fabric, via sublimation.

The ink is deposited on these high-release inkjet papers, which are used for the next step of the sublimation printing process. After the digital design is printed onto sublimation transfer sheets, it is placed on a heat press along with the substrate to be sublimated.
The first sheet can be typed, drawn, or written upon. The second sheet is coated with a layer of wax that had been impregnated with one of a variety of colorants. The pressure of writing or typing on the first sheet transfers the colored wax from the second sheet to the shiny, coated back side of the first sheet, producing a mirror image.
Cosmos (subtitled The Science of Everything) is a science magazine published in Adelaide, South Australia, by CSIRO Publishing that covers science globally. It appears four times a year in print as Cosmos Magazine, and the online edition is updated daily with news as well as long features and multi-media content, and includes the print magazine content.
COSMO surface of a pentaacrylate molecule (red = negative, green = positive equilibrium layer). Charge density surface of 4-nitro-benzoicacid. Calculated with COSMO. COSMO [1] [2] (COnductor-like Screening MOdel) is a calculation method for determining the electrostatic interaction of a molecule with a solvent.
Sheet metal joints might be made on a seam welding machine where weld purging is carried out automatically as part of the machine design. Where sheet metal is formed into tanks or vessels prior to welding, the inside of the vessel can be purged with a flow of inert gas, however for larger sizes the cost of the gas and the time taken is unrealistic.
