Midhurst is a community in the Township of Springwater, Simcoe County, Ontario, Canada. It is the county seat , and with nearly 3,000 people, [ 1 ] the largest population centre in Springwater. It is location of the Barrie Baycats of the Intercounty Baseball League .
Midhurst (/ ˈ m ɪ d h u r s t /) is a market town and civil parish in the Chichester District in West Sussex, England.It lies on the River Rother, 20 miles (30 km) inland from the English Channel and 12 miles (19 km) north of Chichester.
It lies in the Lavant valley, 5 miles (8 km) miles north of Chichester [3] on the A286 road to Midhurst. The civil parish has a land area of 1,602 hectares (3,960 acres). In the 2001 census there were 199 households containing 476 people, of whom 199 were economically active. The population marginally increased to 480 at the 2011 Census. [2]
