Green Street (also known as Green Street Hooligans [3] and Hooligans [4]) is a 2005 crime drama film about football hooliganism in the United Kingdom. [3] The film was directed by Lexi Alexander and stars Elijah Wood and Charlie Hunnam. Two sequels followed in the form of direct-to-video releases.
The 2005 film Green Street (and its sequels) are also based on the ICF, but instead the initials GSE ('Green Street Elite') were used. The ICF make an appearance in Irvine Welsh's novellas Ecstasy: Three Tales of Chemical Romance.
Dave Bjorno, along with other members of the Green Street Elite, are arrested for participating in the fight at the end of the first film, and end up being sent to a tough prison. In prison, the GSE quickly discover the brutality of life on the inside, as they are constant targets of the superior numbered and better-financed Chelsea crew.
