The National Register of Historic Places listings in Syracuse, New York are described below. There are 120 listed properties and districts in the city of Syracuse, including 19 business or public buildings, 13 historic districts, 6 churches, four school or university buildings, three parks, six apartment buildings, and 43 houses.
The area has become famous for its painted ladies, Victorian homes repainted in pastel colors. In 1979 the district was placed on the National Register of Historic Places . The district has been home to the Syracuse Cultural Workers since 2002 and ArtRage Gallery since 2008.
Pioneer Homes was completed in 1941 and remains fully occupied even as another nearby public housing project was demolished. The project consists of 607 apartments, which include both row houses and 3-story walk-ups, all constructed of masonry with brick exteriors in an early modern style.
When Interstate 81 was built in the 1960s, it sliced right through Syracuse's Pioneer Homes — one of the nation's oldest public housing communities, which had been built some three decades earlier.

Scottholm is an historic housing development in the Meadowbrook neighborhood of Syracuse, Onondaga County, New York. It has been registered as a National Historic District. It is bounded by Salt Springs Road on the north; Brookford Road and East Avenue on the east; Meadowbrook Drive on the south; and Scottholm Terrace on the west. [2]

The John Gridley House is located in the southern section of Syracuse, New York. This section of Syracuse was originally known as Onondaga Hollow, and was settled thirty years before the City of Syracuse. The John Gridley House is significant as one of few houses remaining of the original Onondaga Hollow settlement.
