Putra Heights is a Klang Valley Rapid Transit station in Putra Heights in the southern Subang Jaya. The station are the southern terminus for the Sri Petaling Line and Kelana Jaya Line . The station is located on the intersection of Persiaran Putra Indah and Persiaran Putra Perdana, next to E6 ELITE .
The extension begun operation on 30 June 2016, with 13 new stations added to the line beyond the Kelana Jaya terminus, the new terminus is now at Putra Heights, where the line meets with the LRT Sri Petaling Line.
Putra Heights Sentral: A mixed-use development that includes residential, commercial, and retail spaces. The project features Serasi Residences, a service apartment complex and is located near the Putra Heights LRT Station.
From the Chan Sow Lin station, the lines diverge and run separately. The LRT Ampang Line travels to its terminus, Ampang station, serving towns in the Cheras and Ampang Jaya regions. The LRT Sri Petaling Line runs to Putra Heights station, where it meets the LRT Kelana Jaya Line, serving southern Kuala Lumpur and Puchong. [13] [14]
The extensions of the LRT Kelana Jaya Line and Ampang and Sri Petaling Lines (formerly known as PUTRA and STAR LRT respectively), to USJ and Puchong respectively and converging at Putra Heights were proposed simultaneously by the government in 2006.
The proposal suggested extensions from Kelana Jaya and Sri Petaling to USJ and Puchong, respectively, converging at Putra Heights. [1] [note 1] The extension is named the "LRT Extension Project" (LEP) and will be part of a RM10 billion plan to expand Kuala Lumpur's public transport network.
Kelana Jaya LRT station is a light rail station on the Kelana Jaya Line. It was the former western terminus for passenger services on the line. It is the start of the LRT Extension Project which extended the current terminus to Putra Heights station. It is also the namesake for the LRT line.
