The El Capitan Lodge is a Rustic-style lodge built in 1935 on Lake Como in the Bitterroot National Forest in Ravalli County, Montana. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1990. [1] It was "designed by N.J. Kramis and other charter members of the Hamilton Hikers' Club." [2]

The Montauk Association Historic District is a 100-acre (40 ha) historic district that was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976. It is a complex of large Shingle style cottages for wealthy New York City families' summer use, designed by McKim, Mead and White within a site plan designed by Frederick Law Olmsted in 1881.
In 1972, he purchased the land in Montauk adjacent to Andy Warhol's estate for approximately $135,000—a property that would now be valued at over $20 million. His photography subjects on this estate included notables such as Truman Capote , Mick Jagger , and Jackie Onassis , whom he captured with his camera skinny dipping. [ 7 ]
The park is located in Suffolk County near the eastern tip of Long Island's South Fork, about one mile (1.6 km) east of the hamlet of Montauk. Montauk Downs State Park includes an 18-hole championship golf course, driving range, tennis courts, swimming pool, and restaurant facilities.
