Hamilton JournalNews was a daily broadsheet newspaper based in Hamilton, Ohio, and owned by Cox Media Group.The paper covered news in Hamilton and outlying areas. In September 2013, Cox Media Group Ohio announced that, effective November 1, the Hamilton JournalNews would be merged with The Middletown Journal into a new paper, the Journal-News.
Michael A. Fox (December 15, 1948 – June 23, 2022) [1] was an American Republican politician from Fairfield Township, Butler County, Ohio. Fox served as a representative in the Ohio State Legislature representing Hamilton and Fairfield, Ohio and surrounding areas for more than two decades.
He was hired by the Hamilton Journal-News in 1963. Blount was editor of the paper from 1971 to 1986. [ 2 ] He wrote a weekly column on local history in the Journal News from 1988 to 2004.
