Its main line ran from Bergoo to Cheat Junction, where it connected with the Western Maryland Railway (WM). [1]

Big Sugar Creek State Park is a public recreation area encompassing more than 2,000 acres (810 ha) in McDonald County in southwest Missouri, United States. The state park was established in 1992 to preserve part of the Elk River water system, which Big Sugar Creek is part of. The park has a three-mile-long (5 km) trail for hiking. [4]

One flows north from Garfield, Arkansas, and one, west near Seligman, Missouri, and another, south from Washburn, Missouri. Starting near Powell in McDonald County, Missouri and continuing for approximately 25 miles (40 km) and then ending at the creeks confluence with Little Sugar Creek, is a stretch popular for canoeing and kayaking.
