Shearings (legally Shearings Travel Limited) [1] is a coach tour operator, part of the Leger Shearings Group, based in the United Kingdom.The tour operator brand specialises in holidays including escorted tours, unescorted tours, short breaks, self-drive holidays and river cruises throughout the United Kingdom, Isle of Man, Ireland and Continental Europe.
In addition to the 12 national holidays, each city or town celebrates a public holiday on the occasion of the festival of the local patron saint.For example, Rome on 29 June (Saints Peter and Paul), Milan on 7 December (Saint Ambrose), Naples on 19 September (Saint Januarius), Venice on 25 April (Saint Mark the Evangelist) and Florence on 24 June (Saint John the Baptist).
