I upgraded to Windows 11 from Windows 10 with much regret because to my dismay it doesn’t have Windows photo viewer; when I open a picture folder and use the slideshow, it doesn't go through all the pics in the folder; , it will show maybe 20 or 30 pics in a loop and that's it; it will not show all the rest of the pictures. How do I display thumbnails in pictures; tried selecting pictures, all folders, large icons, apply, didn't work, tried selecting default settings, didn't work, help!
New computer and new WIndows 11. Photo viewer is skipping images or sometimes won't even give me the side arrows to proceed viewing other images in the folder. You can see in the screen grab there are 2 jpg images same format as the first and it is skipping them to go to an image later in the folder. It does this in all folders.
This is a bug many people are reporting in Windows 11, it seems if the folder if images is not in the sources list in the Photos App, then the option to scroll through the images is not available. As a workaround, go into the settings of the Photos app and temporarily add the folder to the sources list, then that option should appear.
