Thomas Noguchi. Thomas Tsunetomi Noguchi (野口 恒富, Noguchi Tsunetomi, born January 4, 1927) is the former Chief Medical Examiner - Coroner for the County of Los Angeles. Popularly known as the "coroner to the stars", Noguchi determined the cause of death in many high-profile cases in Hollywood during the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s.
In 1977 he joined the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's and Coroner's Office. [3] In 1986 he became senior medical examiner, the third-highest medical position in the department. [ 3 ] [ 4 ] He supervised deputy medical examiners and residents in forensic pathology.
The Hall of Records was estimated to cost $13.7 million in 1961.
