Re: Cool DK names Putting frost, fire, blood or anything similar in your character's name is lame and stupid. Randomize a name or try to invent one yourself instead.

mages in most stories (not just wow) tend to be older, regal, intelligent people (often to the point it drives them insane) it's worth considering that if you want a name that really fits your char. mine is belmakor, which is thieved from a book: Balgarath the sorcerer (awesome books, beside the point) the bel meaning beloved and makor being his name. maybe hijacking something from literature ...
I usually prefer names that makes no sense, for a gnome mage(if you play alliance), it makes sense to call the toon something like Bigfoot, Pinkpala, Manlydwarf etc. The nerve is called the "nerve of awareness".
Personally my favorite mage names so far are: Aramos - My mages current name Coldsnap - An old friend of mine named his mage this...pretty self explanitory. My mage used to be named Serish but I chose to change the name when I transfered back to my origonal server.
Use to have a hunter called NopeNotABot with pet NeitherIsHe back when all bots were hunters with pets called cat or boar (default name) Also had a frost Mage called IceeWeiner (futurama tribute) Also had belf pala called headgiver usually with the of the horde title, so "Headgiver of the horde"
Add note, any name with Sham, totem, etc... are probably the worst names in the game. IE, shamanator, shamalama, etc... those are just lame and have no originality. Oh and if you truly are making a new shaman, remember when typing in forums, it's shaman, not shammy, shammie, etc... We are shaman, and proud to be shaman.
