The River Valley Conference (RVC) is a high school athletic conference whose members are located in smaller communities in eastern Iowa. The conference roughly spans from Johnson County, Iowa to the southwest, to Dubuque County, Iowa to the northeast. The RVC was founded in the 2013-2014 school year. [1]

In 2020, Grace Christian became a full IHSA member, and joined the RVC. This brought the amount of teams up to 8. Momence and Clifton Central are set to join the RVC in 2021, due to the dissolving of the Sangamon Valley Conference. This will bring the conference up to 10 teams.

Prior to joining the RVC and its predecessor, the Cedar Valley Conference, in 2008, Durant was a member of the Eastern Iowa Hawkeye Conference (EIHC), a league that dated to the 1950s.
