Spofford is located in southern Kinney County at (29.172681, –100.411388 It is on the east side of Texas State Highway 131, which leads north 10 miles (16 km) to Brackettville, the county seat, and south 24 miles (39 km) to U.S. Route 277 in the Rio Grande valley.
