It is considered as the first integrated transport terminal in Malaysia. Opened in 1996, the entire Terminal 1 development consists of the bus terminal building with a 5-storey parking space, integrated with a shopping mall and office buildings. The terminal is also connected to the Seremban railway station via an underground pedestrian tunnel.
