Hot Springs is a census-designated place (CDP) in Bath County, Virginia, United States. The population as of the 2020 Census was 524. [1] It is located about 5 miles (8 kilometers) southwest of Warm Springs on U.S. Route 220. Hot Springs has several historic resorts, for the springs helped develop Bath County.

The Omni Homestead Resort is a luxury resort in Hot Springs, Virginia, United States, in the middle of the Allegheny Mountains. The area has the largest hot springs in the commonwealth, and the resort is also known for its championship golf courses, which have hosted several national tournaments.
Like its namesake, Bath County's economy is focused on tourism and recreation. The county's major employer is The Omni Homestead, a resort and historic hotel built in 1766 as "The Homestead" in Hot Springs. [5] Additional recreational opportunities are provided by camping and fishing at Lake Moomaw in the southern part of the county.

The district encompasses seven contributing buildings. The complex consists of the Main Barn with its attached tile double silos, a Bottling Building, Milking Barn, Calving Barn, Ham House, Herdsman's Cottage, and Bull Barn. The complex was built by the Virginia Hot Springs Company in 1928 to support the operations of the nearby Homestead resort.

The men's spa holds 40,000 US gallons (150,000 L) of constantly flowing water. [2] In total, the springs in Warm Springs have a flow rate of 1,700,000 gallons of water per day.
