National Highway 166E, commonly referred to as NH 166E is a national highway in India. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] It is a spur road of National Highway 66 . [ 3 ] NH-166E traverses the states of Maharashtra and Karnataka in India.
The road, a state highway, is at an average elevation of 625 m (2,051 ft). It links the cities of Chiplun (Ratnagiri district) and Karad (Satara district). Near the eastern end is the Koyna Dam .

IRB Infrastructure won the bid to develop the airport in 2009 for a concession period of 95 years. [4] The project received environmental clearance in March 2012. [5] Work on the airport was completed in the second half of 2013, [6] and was expected to be completed by August 2014, but had been delayed for years because of issues in acquiring private land, among others.
