Market Rasen Racecourse is a National Hunt racecourse in the town of Market Rasen, in Lincolnshire, England. [1] [2] It is owned and operated by Jockey Club Racecourses. [3] Racing initially began at Market Rasen in the early 1800s, however found its current home in 1924, its first race meeting coming in April of that year. [4]

Market Rasen was an Urban District in Parts of Lindsey, Lincolnshire, England from 1894 to 1974, [1] [2] created under the Local Government Act 1894.. The district was abolished in 1974 under the Local Government Act 1972 and merged with other local government districts in the western part of Lindsey to form the new West Lindsey district.
