The railroad of South Manchester Railroad Company, hereinafter called the carrier, is a single-track standard-gauge steam railroad, located in the central part of Connecticut. The owned mileage extends southerly from Manchester, Conn., to South Manchester, Conn., a distance of 1.932 miles.
Interstate 384 passes just south of the Manchester CDP, with access from Exits 1 through 5.
