The Dodge Ram SRT-10 is a sport pickup truck produced by Dodge, based on the standard Ram 1500, with only 10,046 units built. It was introduced as a concept at the January 2002 North American International Auto Show , while the production model was introduced in 2003 as a 2004 model year.
Dodge Ram SRT-10 – This is a regular or quad-cab body with the Dodge Viper's 8.3L V10 engine, Pirelli tires on 22" rims, lowered suspension, bucket seats, body modifications, and a spoiler. The 2004 version was available only in a regular cab with a 6-speed manual transmission and a Hurst shifter.
The designation Dodge SRT-10 can refer to three vehicles, all of them powered by Dodge's V10 engine: Dodge Viper SRT-10; Dodge Ram SRT-10; Dodge Tomahawk SRT-10
The ZB I Viper was sold in Europe during 2005–2006. It was the first model to be sold as a Dodge, as part of Chrysler's new sales strategy for the European market. In the United Kingdom it is referred to as a Viper, but was sold as the Dodge SRT-10, as the Viper name is a registered trademark in the UK. [43]
The new Viper was introduced in 2002, named as the SRT-10, which replaced both the RT/10 and GTS models. The engine displacement was increased from 8.0 to 8.3 liters, [ 3 ] and along with other upgrades, the engine produced a maximum power output of 500 hp (373 kW; 507 PS), and 525 lb⋅ft (712 N⋅m) of torque.
