I used the gift card balance page, which indicated a balance of $0 on my card. Has anyone encountered this problem? Is it just a case of a "ghost" order that is hanging around IKEA's system that has taken my refund card balance hostage, and it's just a matter of waiting a few hours for the "ghost order" to disappear?
I'm in the UK. I purchased an Ikea gift card (pretty large balance). At the order checkout on the payment screen I chose "Redeem a GIFT or REFUND card", I entered the gift card number and pin code, it recognised it and its balance and said it's applied to the order. So far so good.

I just placed an order online for a couple of items and I used a gift card I received for Christmas and payed the remaining with visa. I realized that I ordered a wrong item, so I cancelled the order. It never charged visa (I'm assuming that it would charge me once the items have shipped) however my gift cards balance now appears as $0.
Seems to be a lot of issues with Ikea gift cards from my search. I have an Ikea gift card that was purchased in store. I input the gift card info at payment, and my total went down by $250 (confirming that there was a balance on the card), however, I went to add another thing to my cart. Came back, re-entered the gift card info, and I am ...
Whyyyy do I need to create an account (AKA why does IKEA need to collect my information and, likely, non-consensually add me to their promotional email list?!) in order to check a gift card balance?! 😫 Note: I first tried to check the balance by calling the 800 number on the back of the gift card, but I was informed by a machine that I had ...
So, I returned something a couple of years ago and received an Ikea RETURN (not gift) card. I want to check the balance! I can't remember what I returned! On the website, though, it says you need a PIN. There's no PIN. It also says you can't check a balance unless the card is "activated." I also see no place to do that. Any tips?
I was making an online purchase on ikea US and I was planning on using my gift card. I got to the last step and entered my card number and saw that I wasn't using the entire balance yet. So I go back and add some stuff to my cart and when I go to enter it my card balance is reduced as if I had ordered the previous items.
So once you hit $25 in rewards, you're automatically sent an IKEA gift card for $25 dollars (not your total balance) and then the card expires in 30 days. This makes saving up the rewards to pay for a purchase entirely nearly impossible, plus there's a very good chance the reward card will expire before you go to IKEA again (at least for me).
I've tried buying an e-Gift card with my Vanilla card from Ikea's website so I can do a click and collect order (Vanilla card has just shy of the total order balance), but nothing is working. And I spent an hour on the phone with Ikea customer support and the CashStar support with no help, so I'm turning to the good people of the Internet!
