Braingames is an American educational program shown on HBO in the mid-1980s. It was a half-hour program consisting of brain-teasing animated skits (either stop-motion or cartoon) designed to make the viewers think. It was HBO's first attempt at a show focused on educational skits, predating Crashbox by 15 years.

HBO Kids (formerly Jam) was an American preschool/children's television morning programming block operated by Home Box Office, Inc. (HBO), a division of Warner Bros. Discovery. The block ran on HBO Family , HBO's sister station that targets children and families.
The show originally aired on HBO Family on December 14, 2002 as part of its Jam (now HBO Kids) preschool block in the United States until it was removed in July 2011, along with the TV show Harold and The Purple Crayon. Qubo later aired this show from May 18, 2013 until September 25, 2015 along with other Scholastic shows the network aired.

In June 2005, the block was entirely removed from HBO Family's lineup. [4] As a result, Animated Tales of the World and Crashbox moved to Jam; while the former did not last long there, the latter still airs to this day, as Jam is now known as HBO Kids.
