The town is 15 miles (24 km) northeast of the city of Green Bay. The eastern border of the town is the Kewaunee County line. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 30.8 square miles (79.9 km 2), of which 22.1 square miles (57.3 km 2) is land and 8.8 square miles (22.7 km 2), or 28.38%, is water. Holy Cross Church and Convent is a Roman Catholic church complex in Green Bay, Wisconsin, with six structures built from 1862 to 1932 in various architectural styles. Currently, it is also a church school. [2] The complex was added to the National Register of Historic Places on June 28, 2001 for its architectural significance. [3]

Bay Settlement is one of the oldest settlements in Wisconsin, as only Green Bay, De Pere, and Prairie du Chien are older. The settlement had a population of eight people in 1830. The community is home to Holy Cross Church, one of the oldest Catholic congregations in the county, which succeeded a mission established at Bay Settlement in 1834. [2]

The Cotton House is a historic house located at 2640 South Webster Avenue within the Heritage Hill State Historical Park in Green Bay, Wisconsin. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places for its architectural significance on April 28, 1970. [1]
