    Have a Pleasant Hearth 1800 installed by previous owners. No manual. Trying to sweep chimney after first burning season and need to remove the baffles. Looking up into the stove I see three metal bars. The front two bars have little bolts on the right side. Do I just remove those bolts, slide out the bars, and then lift/angle-out the Baffles?

    I'm seeing the drolet legend 3 for $1,700 and escape 2100 is $1,800($1,850 with Brush nickel trim), while the osburn 330 is $2,550 - $3,000. All the others you mentioned seemed to be well over $3,000. Pleasant Hearth HWS-2200 is even cheaper, at 1,350. Just not sure of the quality of the product

    I just purchased my first home, and it came with a Pleasant Hearth PH50CABPS. Before trying to fire the stove for the first time, I read the manual and thoroughly cleaned the entire unit. This included removing the pellets from the hopper and auger shaft, removing the side panels, and cleaning inside the unit, as well.

    About 3 weeks ago I received my first pellet stove which is a pleasant hearth model PH50CABPS. It has an adjustable knob on the side that works as a thermostat. It also as a max a min setting. Setting it on the max will leave it burning at the max rate despite the temperature in the room.
