Mind you before the colonoscopy my stools were perfectly fine, I had not had a flare in 3 years. I don't know if the colonoscopy triggered a flare or what's going on but I'm scared ...

Before being diagnosed I was having about 3 bloody diarrhea movements per day. After colonoscopy and Asacol and VSL I have been having formed movements with no blood but 6-10 times per day.
A colonoscopy definitely stirs up things in there so it could be just a side effect of the colonoscopy, but you definitely need to check with your doctor. I typically have heightened problems after a colonoscopy, but not as severe as what you're experiencing, but I have been in remission since 2007.
Sometimes instead of normal stool formations it's just a liquid and it hurts... like it's acidic. And, when it's this sort of liquid, it usually is a yellowish. I just consider it part of my flare up, and try to get better. BUT, ask your husband's doctor. I read things on here and then ask my doctor about them.
I had smaller stools so my doctor suggested I had colonoscopy . I've FOBT and it was negative before the colonoscopy, I've never had dark stools before. They only found internal hemorrhoids. My colonoscopy was today and this evening I went to the toilet and had very very dark diarrhea. Is this normal at all???
After colonoscopy -rectal med question. So I had the colonoscopy and results were pretty good so far (waiting for biopsies)--Dr. said looked mostly good except (here is where I was unclear as I was coming out of it and was foggy) either red at spot in sigmoid above rectum or maybe rectum up to lower sigmoid.

Post-colonoscopy issues really aren't uncommon. People have short term issues like diarrhea, bleeding, etc that go away, but a fever could be a sign that something went wrong during the procedure. It's one of the reasons that I've stopped getting colonoscopies for the time being. People aren't aware of the risks.
