SD Gundam (Japanese: SDガンダム, Hepburn: Esu Dī Gandamu, short for Superior Defender Gundam or Super Deformed Gundam) [1] is a media franchise that spawned from the Gundam franchise. SD Gundam takes the mecha (and characters) from Gundam and expresses them in a super deformed and anthropomorphic style.
SD Gundam World Sangoku Soketsuden was first announced back in November 21, 2018 at the Gundam 40th Anniversary live press conference. [3] Created as a reboot of the BB Senshi Sangokuden franchise (a spinoff of the Musha Gundam series and part of the SD Gundam franchise), the series only shares its namesake from its other franchise as it was an entirely different series altogether.
Mobile Suit SD Gundam was released as a series of shorts accompanying feature films by Sunrise, or in OVA form. Eventually a feature film and a TV series were also made. There are two forms: immediate-release and sustained-release nicotinic acid. Initial prescription amounts are 500 mg/day, increased over time until a therapeutic effect is achieved. Immediate-release doses can be as high as 3,000 mg/day; sustained-release as high as 2,000 mg/day. [7]
