The Boomerang streaming service originally launched in 2017 when the company was still called Time Warner (prior to the close of its acquisition by AT&T and subsequently sale to Discovery).
Boomerang logo, 2000–2015. The Turner Broadcasting System had built up an extensive catalogue of MGM and early Warner Bros. cartoons since the 1980s. The library made up much of the extensive children's programming on TBS and TNT, which was phased out after the creation of the Cartoon Network on October 1, 1992.
This episode features a few sketches with the regular cast, but most of the show consists of an episode The Cisco Kid with redubbed dialogue. This piece was actually an unsold pilot from 1978 featuring the voices of Martin Short , Steven Kampmann , Peter Torokvei and Don Dickinson, all members of the Second City Toronto cast between 1977 and 1979.
