In 1915 the main building was expanded by 242 feet (74 m)—increasing capacity to 200 patients—and daily bus service running from Minneapolis to Jordan began. [ 3 ] Throughout the years, the mud was harvested in the same way—dug up with a hand-operated crane and transported into the spa building in a rail cart.
Jordan is also home to the Post #3 Jordan Legion Baseball Team, which won the State Tournament four straight years from 2005 to 2008. It took 2nd place in 2010 and 3rd place in 2004 and 2009. It won the National/Regional Tournament three straight years from 2005 to 2007 and was runner-up in 2008.

The post office at Baudette began in 1900, first called "Port Hyland", after postmaster Daniel Hyland. The name was changed to "Baudette" in 1901. Baudette had a station of the Minnesota and Manitoba Railroad, now absorbed by the Canadian National Railway. [6] Baudette was largely destroyed in the Baudette Fire of 1910, but was quickly rebuilt. Guy Warren Ballard (July 28, 1878 – December 29, 1939) was an American mining engineer who, with his wife Edna Anne Wheeler Ballard, founded the "I AM" Activity. Ballard was born in Newton, Kansas and married his wife in Chicago in 1916. Ballard served in the U.S. Army in World War I, and then became a mining engineer.
