Banjo Band, also known as Banjo Band Ivana Mládka is a Czech country band formed in 1966 and led by singer and comedian Ivan Mládek. [ 1 ] [ 2 ] They are best known both at home and internationally for the song " Jožin z bažin ".
Mládek is known for creating the Guitariano guitar, a guitar shaped synthesizer. Mládek also performs with his country band Banjo Band in the mid-1960s, along with his frequent collaborator, Ivo Pešák. In addition to music, Mládek was also a successful comedian and actor in the 1980s. He has written 233 songs over his long career.

A native of New York City, Fleck was named after the Hungarian composer Béla Bartók, the Austrian composer Anton Webern, and the Czech composer Leoš Janáček.
