The following is a list of airports in Greater Los Angeles, the second-largest urban region area in the United States, encompassing the five counties in Southern California that surround the city of Los Angeles. The region is served by five airports with commercial air service, which combined, served 114 million passengers in 2019.
The Airport Tunnel, also known as the Sepulveda Boulevard Tunnel, is a highway tunnel in Los Angeles, carrying Sepulveda Boulevard underneath the two runways (25L/25R) and taxiways on the south side of the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX). This section of Sepulveda is a part of California State Route 1.

It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1992. [1] Hangar No. 1 was built in 1929 and was the first structure built on what was then known as Mines Field.
