The South High Commercial Historic District is a historic district on High Street in Downtown Columbus, Ohio. The site was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1983 and the Columbus Register of Historic Properties in 1987. [1] The district includes 11 contributing commercial buildings, spanning two city blocks.
The University District (or University Area), is a 2.8-square-mile (7.3 km 2) area located 2 miles (3.2 km) north of Downtown Columbus, Ohio that is home to the main campus of Ohio State University, the Battelle Institute, and Wexner Medical Center. [1]
The two-story, 28,000 sq ft (2,600 m 2) [1] building was designed in the Art Deco style by Ray Sims, a local architect and member of the Columbus chapter of the AIA.Sims, an original partner to the present-day Schooley Caldwell, also designed the Richard Berry Jr. House in Columbus, and assisted in designing the Ohio State University's Sullivant Hall.

The Metro Schools are a semi-public network of three schools located in Columbus, Ohio, United States, on Ohio State University's campus: Metro Early College High School (MECHS), and Metro Middle School (MECMS). The Metro Institute of Technology, the third branch of the school, closed in 2017.
