Located in Stanly County 50 miles northeast of Charlotte, Morrow Mountain State Park provides a myriad of adventures from the summit of the namesake mountain, along the banks of the Yadkin River State Trail, and to the shores of Lake Tillery.
Location: Stanly County, 51 miles north of Charlotte. You can find: Morrow Mountain, one of the highest peak in the Uwharries, and bald eagles spotted from Lake Tillery. Highlights: hiking and bridle trails; Lake Tillery and the Yadkin River; Kron House; CCC structures, including the poolhouse; boat rentals.

Due to major construction, the following facilities at Morrow Mountain State Park will be closed for reservations until further notice: all tent, trailer, and RV camping loops; all cabins; picnic shelter A at the top of Morrow Mountain; and; the swimming pool.
