Hi Cherry Red, I am now very confused. I had one period after the first cycle of Chemo and I have not had any periods since. We are very similar in age so unless there is some difference in our cancers which has led the Oncs to prescribe different medications I really don’t understand the logic behind us having different hormone therapy.

I also take Lemoprazole to protect my stomach, plus glucosamine & chondroitin ( high strength) and cod liver oil.
Hi Cherry. It called Cardiotoxicity…& the link is to breast cancer treatment. Its caused by a range if factors of treatment: chemotherapy (a fair number of these cause cardiotoxicity: too many to list), radiotherapy, Herceptin & other focused type treatments. Or the combination which all causes insults to the heart.

I’ve had the usual aches and pains and sweats but nothing too debilitating. However, this month - for the first time, I’ve been plagued by depression.
I am 71 . I cannot say it is problem free but you get used to it and I dont know how a ’ normal ’ 71 year old feels. I would say Letrozole is probably to blame for my osteoporosis…I do take adcal and have had 3 years of zolendronic acid ( It wasnt too much of a problem , I preferred the infusions to the tablets).
