Lunar[a] is a role-playing video game franchise created by Game Arts and Studio Alex. The series takes place on the titular moon, which orbits an uninhabitable planet known as "The Blue Star". The series began with Lunar: The Silver Star, first released in 1992 for the Sega CD, and was followed by Lunar: Eternal Blue in 1994.
