CRA locked account - my experience I was one of the users who was affected by the recent 'data breach' which locked tens of thousands of people out of their CRA account. I haven't received any direct communication from the CRA in regards to this outside of the email that my email address has been removed from my account.
I then tried to login to my CRA account in a separate browser window, and instead of taking me to my sign-in partner's website it took me to a blank white page with a little google chrome pop-up window asking me to sign in and with the following url: https:/apps4.ams-sga.cra-arc.gc.ca. The CRA will NOT freeze your account right away over $1000 balance outstanding. Depending on your income, they will take your GST credit and apply that to your debt. A collections officer has to be assigned to your account and will try to work with you WELL before your account ever gets frozen.
I finally got access back into my CRA account after a long battle with them when my account was part of the data breach back in 2019-2020.
