Wednesday, July 5 will be the day for residential customers with a regular collection on Tuesday, July 4. Thursday, July 6 will be the new collection day for customers with a weekly Wednesday pick up, while Friday, July 7 is designated for residential customers with Thursday collections.
Garbage Collection. All household garbage must be free of liquids and placed in secure, durable plastic bags prior to placement in county-issued roll carts. No excess bags are permitted outside of roll carts but can be scheduled as a special collection (prepaid fee applies).
Once items have been placed curbside, residents must complete a bulky item or special collection request. Bulky items are included in residents’ annual sanitation assessment fees, but special collection items incur a prepaid special collection fee (see below).
Holiday Sanitation Collection Schedule. Monday, May 31 – Memorial Day observed. No sanitation collection service. Tuesday, June 1 – Residential customers whose regularly scheduled collection day is Monday, May 31, will be serviced on Tuesday, June 1.
