  2. CTRL ALT DEL not working - GoTo Community

    community.logmein.com/.../goto_resolve_discussions/ctrl-alt-del-not-working/303494

Thank you. I am on the Free Version, but it's been working fine. I am logging into my client's server, I don't know their Windows Server version but it is recent. I don't have an Admin mode icon, I don't have an icon forthe Ctrl Alt Delete on the toolbar either. It's like all of the remote features are turned off.

Thanks Glenn. It's not our security software, but we have determined that our users LMI Client has flipped to remote view only fir them (after years of using with full remote permissions). Not sure if a glitch or what, we are using the latest version. Sadly, all the troubleshooting articles on logmein pro/goto haven't landed us a resolution.

    2. CTRL ALT DEL on v5 has been ongoing issue for me for the last week or so (March 2022 for reference). Just does not work at all. 3. Moving from one monitor when multiple monitors are present during a session (much better with simple arrows on v4). Much smoother on v4. 4.

I am having the same issue on my d620. Ctrl + Alt + Del combination does not work, but each of those keys individually or with another key combination work fine, so it cannot be the keyboard. it has to be some setting or configuration that is preventing this particuliar key combination from working.

  8. m17 R5, delete key not working, Touchpad is way too sensitive

    www.dell.com/community/en/conversations/alienware/m17-r5-delete-key-not...

    1. The DEL (delete) key does not work. I have probed and probed this. It does not work. Of course that prevents a control alt delete as well. Is there some setting I am missing? 2. The Touchpad is on the lowest sensitivity possible and it is out of control. There has to be some way to make this less sensitive.

    www.dell.com/.../ctrl-alt-delete-for-login-solved/647e7834f4ccf8a8de3e5bb8

I was unable to set up CTRL-ALT-DEL for login. When I bring up User Accounts in Control Panel, it is in the XP Category view, even though all folders are set for the classic view. I have tried to get support from chatting, but it was a waste of time. All they offered was to remote into my E1505 to do the same thing I told them I already tried.

No, pressing Ctrl-Alt-Delete twice will not shut the computer down. If the system locks up you may be able to shut it down by pressing Ctrl-Alt-Delete once and in the Task Manager go to Shut Down in the menu bar and selecting "Turn Off" or "Restart." Your other option is to hold down the power button for several seconds.
